How to Connect MediaPilot to Claude
MediaPilot speaks the Model Context Protocol, so Claude can work inside your workspace: read your posts, draft new ones, check your numbers and, if you let it, publish. Setup takes about a minute and needs no API key. MCP is included in the Growth and Scale plans.
Open the connector settings in Claude
In Claude, go to Settings and then Connectors, and choose to add a custom connector. In Claude Code, the same server is added with `claude mcp add --transport http mediapilot https://mcp.media-pilot.io/mcp`.
Enter the MediaPilot server URL
The address is https://mcp.media-pilot.io/mcp — nothing else to fill in. Claude registers itself automatically and discovers which tools exist.
Sign in to MediaPilot
Claude sends you to MediaPilot to sign in. This happens on media-pilot.io, so your password never reaches the assistant. If you are already signed in, you go straight to the permission screen.
Choose workspaces and permissions
Tick the workspaces this connection may touch — an agency can tick several and switch between them by name — and decide what it may do: read, draft, schedule, publish. Each one is separate, and leaving publish unticked means the assistant can prepare posts but never put them on LinkedIn.
Ask Claude for something
Try 'show me my scheduled MediaPilot posts' to confirm the connection, then 'draft a post about our new pricing'. The draft appears in MediaPilot under Posts, ready to edit.
Review the connection later
MediaPilot logs every call with the workspace, the tool and the time. You can revoke a connection at any moment in Account settings, and it stops working immediately.
