This Privacy Policy explains how MediaPilot ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and services. 2. Scope and Roles

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through our website, subdomains, mobile apps, browser extensions, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

Where MediaPilot processes personal data on behalf of a business customer (e.g., when managing a connected social media account), MediaPilot acts as a data processor and the customer remains the data controller. Refer to the customer's privacy policy for more information in those cases.

a. Information You Provide

  • Name, email address, company name, and billing information
  • Content submitted to the platform (e.g., prompts, uploaded visuals)
  • Communications with customer support

b. Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address, browser, device type, operating system
  • Site usage data: time on site, clicks, navigation, referring URLs

c. Social Media Account Data

If you connect a third-party social media account (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) to MediaPilot, we may collect:

  • Profile image, display name, username, profile or page ID, access tokens
  • Published or scheduled post content
  • Engagement data (clicks, likes, shares, impressions, insights, demographics)

We use this data only to provide and improve the Service. We do not share this data with third parties unless required for functionality.

d. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and third-party tools such as Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, and others. These tools help us understand user behavior and improve performance. By using our Service, you consent to this tracking where legally allowed.

Note: We do not operate a consent management system. Users in jurisdictions requiring prior cookie consent must not use the Service unless they accept such tracking.

4. Purpose of Processing

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, or as required by law. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize the data securely.

MediaPilot is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 or, where local laws require, under 21. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals below this age threshold.
