Deleting your data

This page explains how you delete the data MediaPilot holds about you. It applies to every account, whether you signed up with e-mail, Google, LinkedIn or Facebook. Deleting is free and needs no reason.
1. Delete your account and all your data
Send an e-mail to contact@media-pilot.io with the subject “Delete my data”, from the e-mail address of your MediaPilot account. If you signed up with Google, LinkedIn or Facebook, that is the address of that account.
- We confirm your request within 3 working days.
- Within 30 days we delete your account, your workspaces, all posts, images and uploads, the topics and settings, the connected LinkedIn accounts and their analytics, and your profile data from the sign-in provider.
- A running subscription is cancelled with the deletion. There is no refund for the current period.
What we keep: invoices and payment records, because Swiss commercial law requires us to store accounting documents for ten years. They contain your name, address and the amounts, nothing from your workspace.
2. Remove a connected LinkedIn account
In the app, open Account, then Social accounts, and remove the LinkedIn profile or page. MediaPilot then stops publishing to it and deletes the access tokens and the analytics imported from it. Posts you wrote in MediaPilot stay in your workspace until you delete them or the account.
3. Signed in with Facebook, Google or LinkedIn
You can revoke MediaPilot's access at the provider at any time:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy, Settings, Apps and websites, MediaPilot, Remove.
- Google: myaccount.google.com, Security, Third-party apps & services, MediaPilot.
- LinkedIn: Settings & privacy, Data privacy, Permitted services, MediaPilot.
Revoking access means the provider no longer shares anything with us and you can no longer sign in that way. It does not delete the data already in MediaPilot. For that, use section 1.
4. Workspaces you deleted yourself
A workspace you delete in the app is hidden immediately and removed from our systems within 30 days, together with its posts, images and analytics. During those 30 days it can be restored on request.
